In Ethan's school, they focus on a certain topic, called an expedition, and all of their learning stems from that. Ethan's class expedition right now is square foot gardening. As one of their projects, they put on their own farmer's market. They grew a lot of the produce at school, decorated, set the prices, figured out the marketing, and decided what the proceeds should be spent on. It really turned out great!
