Car Wreck

On October 5th, Ethan, Annie, and I were in a car accident on our way to take them to school. I slowed down for a fire truck, and a guy in a big utility work van rear-ended us at 50mph. It did some serious damage.

The whole rear window was shattered on impact.

The damage was bad enough that our car was towed on October 5th, and it is now October 29th, and we don't have our car back yet. I'm so grateful that none of us were seriously injured. I'm still having to see the chiropractor, and Ethan has to go back once more, but Annie went twice and is now fine. It certainly could have been a lot worse.

This is the third wreck our van has been in, and in every single one, we were rear-ended. Twice we were at a complete stop when it happened. What's up with that? Thank goodness the people have been insured and have paid for everything. But I think I've had my quota of accidents for a lifetime!
