Utah State Fair

One of our family traditions is going to the Utah State Fair every year.  In order to go when it was cheap, we headed out right from the kids' school on a weeknight.  First we headed to Little Hands on the Farm.

Then we hung out on some tractors.

And stuck our heads through some cardboard cut-outs.  I have no idea why the kids love these so much, but they do.

I dragged the kids through all the photography displays, and Aaron made them look at all the award-winning cakes and cookies.  By that time, it was getting dark.  We hadn't been at the fair when everything was lit up before, so that was pretty cool.

But dark equals bedtime for the little ones, so we ate some yummy funnel cake, and headed home, exhausted but happy.
