Meghan has a strange quirk that when she mispronounces words, she swears. And not just the little curse words that she may have heard me mutter under my breath a time or two or ninety. She can't say the "tr" or "cr" sounds very well. She replaces them with the "f" sound. Therefore, the words truck and cracker sound quite vulgar. She also omits the "h" part of the "sh" sound, so singing Ring Around the Rosie in nursery is pretty amusing when she gets to the "ashes, ashes" part.
So, if you are ever in a car with me, and Meghan sees a big tractor trailer out the window and starts yelling, "Hey, a big *@%^!" please know that I am not letting my children watch R-rated movies while calling them *%##@!s. That is all.
