Every year on December 6th (International Children's Day), there is a ceremony for all children gone too soon at all of the Christmas Box angel statues around the world. The one in Ogden is located in Evergreen Memorial Park, where Luke is buried.
There was a talk and a song, and then everyone got to go up and say their child's name and place a white flower on the statue. Everyone also got a candle. At the end, everyone sang "Silent Night". I was okay until then.
In case you can't tell from Annie's face, they also had hot chocolate. It was freezing.
We get this look from Gracie a lot. She was being offered a candle and didn't want it.
After the ceremony, we took our candles over to Luke's grave and left them there.
