Walk to Remember

October 15th is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day. Share does a Walk to Remember, where we take the steps our babies will never take. There was a program, a short walk, and then a balloon release.  Every baby's name is read, and then their family releases balloons for them.

We are lucky to have a lot of family who came out to support us.  My sister and her family, my parents and their friend Sheryl, who is so nice to my family, and my sister-in-law, Kari.

A lot of our balloons ended up in this tree.  My dad said it looked like a Christmas tree by the time the release was done.

It was a hard day, but I'm glad we went. The attendance was huge, which makes me so sad.  But it was nice that we could all come together to remember our babies.
